INSTRUCTIONS


  1. User Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Cashiers: Process transactions and handle customer payments at the point-of-sale (POS) system.
    • Store Managers: Manage store operations, including inventory, scheduling, and sales reports.
    • Accountants: Handle financial data and accounting-related tasks.

  2. Login Credentials:
    • Enter your unique username and password provided by the SuperMarket administration.
    • Keep your login credentials confidential. Do not share them with anyone.

  3. Security Measures:
    • Ensure your password meets the required complexity standards:
      • Minimum of 8 characters.
      • Include a combination of letters (uppercase and lowercase), numbers, and special characters.
      • Regularly update your password.
    • Never disclose your login credentials in response to unsolicited requests or emails (phishing attempts).
    • Contact the IT department immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

  4. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
    • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) may be enabled for additional security.
    • You may be required to verify your identity using a secondary method, such as a one-time code sent to your mobile device or email.

  5. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):
    • Your access to system functionalities and data is based on your assigned role.
    • Ensure you only access features and information relevant to your responsibilities.

  6. Session Management:
    • Your session will automatically expire after a period of inactivity.
    • Always log out when you have finished your session, especially when using shared or public devices.

  7. Password Management:
    • Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot Password" link to reset it securely.
    • Passwords are securely encrypted and stored to protect against unauthorized access.

  8. Security Awareness:
    • Stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the IT department immediately.
    • Regular cybersecurity training sessions are available to enhance awareness and best practices.
